DANCES WITH AN ATTITUDE OF EXCELLENCE FOR THE GLORY OF THE LORD

The Dance Ministry vows to teach, encourage, and inspire others to worship God. The Ministry is designed to encourage God’s people to bring deliverance, give breakthrough and break down strongholds.  The gift of dancing is used to uplift God’s people through worshipping Him in spirit and in truth. Let them praise his name with dancing. Psalms 149:3a

The Men’s Ministry meets on a quarterly basis to plan and implement four fellowships each year.

The Nurses Ministry mission is to have a passion for God and his people. To care with the discernment of the Holy Spirit, to meet the spiritual, mental, physical and emotional needs of Leaders and the congregation. It is the Nurses Ministry goal to do outreach within the community while serving the needs of the church body.

S.A.I.N.T.S.

 

PROVIDES PROGAMS TO EFFECTIVELY MINISTER TO THE NEEDS OF AGING MEMBERS

The S.A.I.N.T.S. (Seasoned Saints In New Testament Service) ministers to Oakley’s members over 55 years of age.  The ministry schedules seminars with internal and external speakers to address pertinent topics related to aging and safety.

The Usher Board Ministry provides a comfortable and loving orderly atmosphere, ensures that everyone is safe, and the sanctuary is set-up for worship, makes the church a place where people want to join.

Welcome and Hospitality
 
MEETS AND GREETS ALL MEMBERS AND VISITORS TO THE CHURCH DOORS
 

The Welcome and Hospitality Ministry strives to provide members and visitors with a warm receptive greeting by inviting them into a loving church fellowship.  The Welcome Committee is called upon at times by other ministries of the church to assist with directing church guests to different areas of the church, with traffic control when there is a large crowd, and with serving of refreshments at special events.

Spiritual Foundation: “I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.”

Women’s
 
TO ENCOURAGE, EQUIP AND EMPOWER WOMEN IN THE KINGDOM TO FULFILL THE CALLING GOD HAS PLACED ON THEIR LIVES
 
The Women’s Fellowship aims to reach the needs of women in every season of life – young, seasoned,
mothers, singles and widows. Come grow and glean with us we journey through life together.
• Strengthening the spiritual lives of the women involved;
• Ministering to the souls of women or men that we may encounter;
• Building community and fellowship amongst women;
• Developing God centered relationships;
• Enriching activities in a Christian environment;
• Cultivate informal/ formal mentorship between women;
• Keeping women in engaged in kingdom outside of Sunday.
