The Oakley Full Gospel Baptist Church Music Ministry is designed to present the Word of God through song for the purpose of worship and praising God as well as edifying the saints.
Oakley’s Music Ministry includes gifted and talented individuals ... ranging from toddlers to senior citizens, using various instruments, voices and dance while covering genre’s in the areas of psalms, hymns, spiritual and contemporary songs as admonished in:
Colossians 3: 12-17;
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Our desire is to use our musical gifts properly in hopes that God will be glorified and our efforts be a blessing to those who witness it . Most importantly it is our hopes that the music we present whether in dance or song, allow us to be witnesses to the unsaved and encourage them to live for Jesus Christ.
